I just got in some figures from this company. I ordered Ragnar of Utherby, Christia the Chaste, The Rogue Ravenna, and Emervajne the Wyrmsworn.

The Good: Beautiful sculpts, lots of details, but not overly detailed. I never painted a Chaos army because of the overabundance of details on the Chaos Marines/Demons/Oblits... Looks great for RPG characters....posed well, won't be hard to paint. I give an A to the figures.

The Bad: Ravenna and Christia are small. Very small. I can understand trying to scale the figure to be realistic, but these two figures would look really out of place on a table with 28-30mm figures. Ravenna's head is as big as Ragnar's belt pouch. I almost would say they would be too small compared to LOTR figures from GW. It's a shame, they are awesome sculpts and I would have loved to have used them in my DnD game....

That brings up another point. I ordered from the company in July. I understand with Gen Con there being delays, but I never got the figures, even after making sure they had been mailed out. I recieved no more correspondance on my order, though I do know it was Gen Con weekend.....So I made a second order from coolminiornot to get these figures. I give the company a C on its female figures, and a D on its customer service.

Normally I would not order again for these figures, but no one else does a good range of barbarians/fantasy vikings. If they can scale up their female figures and get their customer service up to par, they should do well.

( I once ordered from Dark Sword miniatures, and they sent me the wrong figure. They replaced the figure on my next order, and did not ask for the mistake to be replaced. In addition, I got a free figure from them on top of that, in both orders!!!!! Now, GW would go ahead and replace the figure without my having to order again, but DS is a smaller company, and the way they handled the mistake is how I would expect them to. )
