So, after a couple days of browsing the web and various wiki's, I've decided to start playing WM. (:
The Retribution is the most attractive army to me; I'm pretty certain they're what I'll be starting with~

So, after studying the rules and looking at the specifics of certain units, I've decided on the following build:

Warcaster: Ravyn, Eternal Light (totally giving her pink hair ;D)
Heavy Myrmidon: Hydra
Stormfall Archers [x4] (For yummy ranged goodness + boosted by Ravyn)
Dawnguard Sentinels [x6] (To balance it all out with some melee)
Arcanist (To take care of Mr. Hydra :'D)

Of course, this is only 15 points, as far as my army builder says, but I figure'd I would start small~
What do you think?

Looks good.
It's 15 points so it wil obviously look a bit light on range esp. with Ravyn.

The Archers are nice range
Hydra is great at either with Arcanist to support while the Sentinels look really beefy at 15 points, pretty scary I mean .

Maybe 10 is a bit much, if you cut down and have 3 points to juggle you can get a 2 point solo and an attachment for the Sentinels.

This is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job.
Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.

Gah. I totally made a mistake. There's 6 sentinels, not 10. xD
And I'm still full at 15pts.
sigh. :c

/shrug,
I think there should be more shooting in the list to make the most out of your Warcasters's feat.

But vortex is pretty nice with Sentinals.

I started with ravyn, and honestly switched to kalyssa for assassination runs.

I love stormfall archers, I think they are incredible especially on ravyn's feat turn.

I disagree on the need for the sentinals, and would suggest that you take a mage hunter strike force instead. stealth is amazing and with their UA they gain phantom seeker

imo this is another reason to take kalyssa over ravyn. if you use 2 MHSF you get one of the UA for free. a 2 pt advantage is always worth it. It is much harder to get tier bonus with ravyn.

that being said, I do agree with your choice of a hydra, but not if you are taking ravyn. with her a manticore is a better choice. on feat turn you can take 3 boosted shots and boost one damage roll. thats a lot of hurt vs a single shot. and the hydra IS good, but best as a 2nd heavy warjack imo.

Sentinals with MHSF have some nasty to play against. Low ARM stealth is afraid of AOEs but ARM 17, not so much. Lets you counter one but not both.
