Maryland/Mid-Atlantic Blood and Steam Weekend!!
If you play Warmachine or Hordes are live in the Mid-Atlantic area you should plan on being at the area’s largest and newest Warmachine Event!
On the weekend of October 16-17 Warmachine and Hordes will be taking over the Games and Stuff store in Glen Burnie, Maryland (
http://www.gameandstuffonline.com) for an intense, multi-day weekend of gaming!
Starting on Saturday October 16 here are the events:
10am: Registration and store opens open play events begin:
1) Scenario tables, both premade and a “Design-your-own-scenario” contest available for open play, points accumulate similar to Eternal War format from Templecon.
2) Regular open play tables (limited b/c of space) will be available also, they will also count for Eternal Way.
3) King of the Hill/Attrition table will be open all weekend, similar to Shattered Ground League rules.
4) Painting contests will be open for following categories:
Best Solo/Warcaster-lock
Best Battlegroup (Caster-lock+2 jacks/beasts)
Best Warjack/Warbeast
Best Unit
Best Conversion
Most Original Overall Model
Best Diorama
11am: Dice start rolling for a 35 point Steamroller:
32 players maximum,
Accelerated turns
Divide and conquer
2-lists
Accelerated tournament rounds
7pm: Dice start rolling for a 50-point Steamroller Team Event:
16 teams of 2 people each, each person brings 25 points
Warmachine/Hordes can pair up.
10 minute turns
Accelerated tournament rounds
The Store will stay open as late as we need it to for this event, so drink your coffee and bring your A-game!
On Sunday the 17th the schedule will be:

Same open-play tables and painting contests will be available, Eternal War will continue until the end of the day!
11am: Dice rolling for the MAIN EVENT!! Blood and Steam Circuit invitational championship!
50 Points modified ‘Softcore’ steamroller!
The top 16 players from the Blood and Steam Standing with alternates in case people can’t make it,
Accelerated ‘softcore’ 9-minute turns
Killbox only
The Champion of this event will be the winner of a special prize trophy to commemorate their victory!
1pm: Dice Rolling for 15 point Mangled Metal/Tooth and Claw Steamroller

Once the Championships are over we’ll cut off the Eternal War Open Play and Scenario Tables, figure out a winner and present the following prizes:
Champion of Mid-Atlantic (winner of Blood and Steam Finals)
2nd and 3rd place for Blood and Steam Finals
King of the Hill (most points accumulated on King of the Hill table)
Eternal Champion (most points accumulated in Eternal War)
Best Original Scenario (most votes for favorite Scenario)
1st, 2nd and 3rd for each individual tournament
Winner in each painting category
We’re working on getting as much prize support as possible for this event from the store, sponsors,
PP and from the registration for the event, but rest assured there will be tons of prizes. We’ll update this post as often as needed with new information about sponsorship and prizes!
The cost for all this gaming excitement will be a modest $25 dollars if you sign up in advance by replying to this thread (we’ll keep a tab on registrations) or $35 dollars day-of for a weekend ‘pass’. At the Store’s request we will not be accepting payments ourselves, but you can purchase your ticket in advance at Games and Stuff (or pre-register here as we said and pay when you arrive).
