My question is how do you people distinguish which figures are marked on which cards. For instance I own the Everblight Battlebox and I use the list as it is, with 4 shredders, the only way I've found to make sure I'm marking the right cards is to paint them differently and do marks on the cards with coloured pens, but they're must be another way... What do you guys do when you own multiple of the same model?

Depends.

Multi-wound infantry I put tokens right beside the model.

Multiple 'jacks, well, peoplle write letters on the bases but I put the card
right next to the 'jack/'beast or orient the card right in front of me in relation
to where the 'jack/'beast is on the table.

The most common thing I have seen is painting dots on the bases, so the first shredder has one dot, second has 2 dots, etc, then you just mark the cards at the start of the game with the number.

All my jacks have numbers on their chassis (GW Dark Angel ones). I write the number onto the card when the first one is damaged.

With multi wound infantry I just remember which one was wounded. This is a gak system that I must improve.

I letter the bases of my multiwound models, barring character units. Then I just remember which one is Volkov.

I don't like to paint numbers or letters on my models so I'm making the bases in such way that I can distinguish models. For example on my cryxian bonechickens I'm using water effect so "Deathripper No. 1" has a single pool of water on the base, "No. 2" - two and so on. For the models on small bases I'm using clumps of static grass - eg. "Shifting Stone No.1" has one clump - and so on... And sometimes I'm also glueing a certain number of skulls on the base. It all works well and doesn't ruin the look of the model.

I use different cryxian glyphs on the model and the back of the base.
I copy these to the cards as I pull the models out.

I haven't done this for the Black Ogrun yet, but I may go with letters.

Thanks for all the help and advice guys, I'm liking the idea of skulls so far! Then I'll be able to actually paint them properly rather than have them green, red, yellow or purple!

I put a colored dot on the back arc of the base and then mark the card with the same color. That way I don't have to mess with my paint scheme. I like the idea giving the chassis model numbers though.

For my protectorate, I put a number of red rocks on the base to determine which is which (leader has no rocks, then I have one with 1, 2, 3 and 4 rocks).

For my Cygnar and Trolls, I just painted numbers on the bases. It isn't as pretty, but its very functional.
