Riverside, Cali

Mission: Annialate-Looting.....players start on corners.

Turn 1: Chaos sets up on the lower right corner (4,000 pts on a 6x4 table its crowded) 1 vindicator, 2 predators, 3 rhino's, 2 dreadnoughts along with lotsa chaos marines. Space Wolfs set up 2 land raiders lots Grey Wolfs and Bjorn leading the charge down the length of the table. This battle will be long as lotsa troops foot it in a city scape and its real close any pie plate ordanance would have a field day. The scary part is both sides have lotsa Terminators on Reserve to Deep Strike and it worries me, I was expecting a mostly calavry Space Puppy force and got lotsa charicters and Elite forces to face not good for Chaos. Several Choosen die from a devestor squad set high on a ruined building.

Turn 2: More foot slogging as marines on both sides try to get closer, the Vindicator fires off a shot killing 1 Grey Hunter, and several more Chosen die from the same Devestator squad. Pradator fires off a HK missile and hits a low flying duck Chaos is flubbing every roll to hit. A Dreadnought goes down to a lucky Lasconnon hit Chaos is mad.

Turn 3: Bjorn makes a showing up close chewing up the same Chosen unit and finishes them off, Chaos curses this and again flubs there rolls to hit anything. Space Puppies get closer as close assualt begins as Chaos starts to get a few kills there. Bjorn shakes off entire volly's of hvy weapons fired into him (What the Heck).

Turn 4: Chaos is taking an aweful pounding, this is not suppossed to happen Bjorn is killing them off in droves, as the Space Puppy Psyker I forget his name but he activates his powers killing even more. Termies have since landed vie Deep Strike the Puppies way off course and one becomes part of a Space Puppy Land Raider's armor forever. Chaos suffers heavy looses again but Bjorn is finally a smoking wreak after all this close up blood shed after kiling a whole 10 man Bezerker Squad and my Chaos Lord. Demon Prince takes a las cannon shot sending him back to the Warp Grrrr.

Turn 5: Chaos has lost 3/4ths of its army (I am not believing this) counting mu causulties...Chaos Lord dead, Deamon Prince Dead, my Chaos Sorceror locked in close combat and will die. All my Bezerkers dead more than half my troops and Elites dead , all my dreadnoughts down. I am starting to cry and concead the battle taking my lumps, I think back what more could have gone wrong Space Puppies are not that tough are they, I mean I have been fighting them every week end since 1st edition. Then it comes to me, yah I never read there new Codex and I begin to laugh that they have loads of fluff and I never did my intel on them and was beaten soundly. Next time I will be ready as next month we are planning a Planet trike game (my first) so I get to defend and that sounds so cool as I will bring out my Traitor Guard (I only have 1,000 pts a fully filled HQ Platoon) to help my Chaos Marines this should be great fun. So I must dust off my Brass Scorpion and 2 Cannon of Khorne for this mighty battle (have not used them since 3rd edition). I hope I can defend my Chaos world against these Flea Ridden Space Pups and show them that Chaos is no push over. Advise is much needed and helpful thank all of you, next month there will be full pics
