Hi guys!
Just home from a trip to my FLGS, and I can honestly say i've just played the most fun game of 40k in years - I genuinely can't remember a more entertaining game.
Simple game, 3000 points each just playing capture the single objective in the middle of the table. I was using my BT, while my opponent was playing as CSM (mostly Nurgle but with some other bits spliced in.
Some notable points of hilarity:
-Out of 16 plasma shots (various cannon/gun/pistol) 14 got hot and 8 resulted in kills
-My opponent's dreadnought fire-frenzied with it's lascannon killing his land raider - (the next turn it killed 2 plague marines from the same transport!)
-On the charge my sword brethern attacked his Terminators with 30+ attacks. Of 30 attacks, 20 of these were 1's (we did stop to count), and with PE re-rolls, only 5 of these hit.
-One of his rhinos immobilised itself driving over a hedge....
-Three of my terminators failed to destroy an immobilised land raider in 3 turns - while armed with chainfists
-Kharne killed more chaos than imperials!
There was other rather funny stuff that went on, but this was the big ones. Share your experiences! There have toi be some funny games that have gone on out there!
