Hi, a friend and I were thinking of getting back into mordheim but I was curious if there were any other games out there with a good campaign system and growing warbands like mordheim out there?
I heard one of the warhammer historical was similar and that this new game from soda pop might have something like that going on but its hard to get information.

Have you tried Necromunda? IMO it's the best game GW ever made.

yea, we used to play necromunda back in the old days too but it has the same problem of being generally unsupported with expensive and/or oop models.
I really dont want to go back and hunt down all those old town cryers and citadel journals for the full rules to either game, i know they are not required but still, you know theres more out there.
Im looking at the warhammer historicals ledgends of the oldwest/high seas but im fully willing to go outside of gw.

If you want to try out something New, check out Brushfire. We put a lot of work into the Campaign system to make it very indepth.

Pretty sure all the official rules ever released for Mordheim/Necromunda are freely availably from the GW website now.

There might be some stuff missing though.

Mordheim might not be supported anymore, but that's part of what makes it so great at this point I think. As Da Bank posted, you can find all the supplements and things over on the Tabletop Geeks downloads page ( http://tabletopgeeks.com/downloads/ ). The rules are free.

GW does still sell several of the Mordheim models actually, but personally I find doing custom conversions is one of the best parts. Since the game isn't supported anymore it's the perfect opportunity to find different models and put together some cool and different things with different models and conversions. Check out some of the cool stuff people have done over in our Mordheim Galleries: http://directory.tabletopgeeks.com/?game=Mordheim&army=All&setting=All&publisher=All
