Cool report. Thanks for the link. I'm not a Tau player, but was really surprised by how mismatched the Demon armies appeared for you. The only piece of advice was to maybe start most of your army on the table with Kroot spread out to absorb an assault to help you get as much shooting in as possible.


No earth shattering, thought provoking quote. I'm just someone who was introduced to 40K in the late 80's and it's become a lifelong hobby.

Yep castling is an option, but my aim with deep striking was to kill his scoring units.

To be honest I'm going to struggle against any fast assault army, I have the same problem vs Orks, Blood angels and nids as well. It would be nice to have a decent Tau assault unit but then that probably runs contrary to their whole philosophy!
