Where are the rules for imperial fighters/interceptors and stuff? All it lists in the "Ships of the Gothic Sector" PDF is their speed. No damage or anything.

Also, is it necessary to buy the fighter models from GW? If not, what else could be used to represent them? (Races like the Tau don't even have models for their attack craft)

Adrift within the vortex of my imagination.

The orginal game includes counters, so counters are therefore acceptable. Make your own counter set.

n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.

It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion. By the juice of the brew my thoughts aquire speed, my mind becomes strained, the strain becomes a warning. It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion.

Look in the ordnance section of the rule book PDF. All the rules and what they do for damage is there, whether they are classified as a fighter, bomber, assault craft, or combination of such. As well, some attack craft, like the Space Marine Thunderhawk, have additional rules in their respective fleet rules download.

Use counters if you want too or purchase the models for attack craft if you want to.
