Is warhammer online worth buying? I am a fan of MMO's but I couldn't find anything on the internet telling me about the costs involved. And the species you can play as? Can anyone help me with these things?

You can play in Tier 1 (levels 1-10) for free in an unlimited capacity. Go download it and try it yourself to find out if you like it.

High Elves, Empire, and Dwarves make up the side of Order.

High Elves you can be a White Lion (melee dps), Swordmaster (Tank/DPS), Shadow Warrior (Ranged DPS), or Archmage (healer/Ranged DPS).

Empire had Warrior Priest (Healer, melee dps), Knight (Tank/Melee DPS), Witch Hunter (Ranged/Melee DPS), Bright Wizard (Ranged DPS)

Dwarves had Rune Priest (Healer/Melee DPS), Iron Breaker (Tank, Melee DPS), Engineer (Ranged DPS), Slayer (Melee DPS)

Disorder was Dark Elves, Chaos, and Orcs and Goblins. I never played them, so I don't know the classes.

I enjoyed Warhammer a lot more then WoW. But the game support was just abysmal. I finally decided to stop playing when they pushed a patch that made the game unplayable, and three days later they still hadn't fixed it.

I would have enjoyed it more if,

More people played it (public quests are great if you have enough people)

I had a computer that could handle it.

As it is, it had a very enjoyable pvp aspect, but not enough people to fill it out.

PVP was great with that game. Much more enjoyable then WoW's. Public Quests were fun as well. Just about every aspect of that game, I really enjoyed. But like I said, the tech support was horrible. I'd bet that the server populations would have been a lot better if they were better about it.

I'd recommend finding some friends also interested. So much more fun to do quests (especially PQs) together.

"Yeah yeah. That's what your Psi Brigade said too."
"No... No, he's not a demon lord."
"How do you know?"
"He doesn't dress cool enough."
