I just picked this game up. Check out the review on my site. This is the PERFECT game for every gamer's random collection of sci-fi figs.

Imagine a Mass Effect style miniature game! Very cool! I'm going to dust off tons of my old Kev White I-Kore stuff to get me started. Not to mention $25 USD for a rulebook is super-affordable.

Check it out!

There's a truly excellent Battle Report on the Lead Adventures forum that you should check out. Very cool! I'm stoked to play a game.

Thanks for the link. I just ordered myself a copy too.

I see the Ragik as your avatar. I've been dying for a decent campaign system for Infinity, and this could be a fun way to use the miniatures and get a campaign.

It's a Daturazi actually, and I was thinking much the same thing!

I don't have the rules but hopefully my local store will get this in.

So, say I wanted to get some 40k players into this game by allowing them to basically use their 40k models.

Are there good equivalents for each 40k army in the lists?

My copy of the rulebook hasn't arrived yet, Vertucio, but from what I've read, there are enough races, and traits to model pretty much any sci-fi type you want to.

I've seen character profiles for the Predator, Alien, the crew of the Firefly, Boba Fett, etc etc.

So, this is 2nd hand info, but I'm pretty sure you'll be able to reasonably represent any of the GW world races.

You could absolutely do Space Marines. Using a Two Man Crew with Heavy Armour upgrades and Armour Piercing Slugthrowers would work perfectly. You can even make a Terminator by making one of them a hero and giving him the Tank heroic traits.

Definitely the most flexible of building systems.

Yeah, my book is currently on order at my FLGS, arriving probably Friday at the earliest.

I'd heard about having 2 models in a detachment/crew. I didn't realized it was an actual crew type. Should be a nice change for an SM player to have his Space Marines actually feel like the tough basterds they really are.

I used to play AE-WWII, but I'm switching to Bounty since I like scifi stuff in general. Alas, 40k is pretty entrenched at my store, but the general 40k malaise is palpable as well, so I figured I'd give them a shot.

I'm also building up a giant set of World Works Games cardstock terrain, their new Titan TLX set. I hope to fill up a whole table with this stuff when I start running demos for people with 40k models.

You pick a crew 'Style' before you pick a type.

There are four levels of Crews; 2 Man Team (2 Elite Selections), Veteran (2 Veteran Selections, 2 Regular Selections), Standard, (1 Veteran, 2 Regular, 2 Green) and Large (2 Regular, 3 Green).once you've picked a type you select from the Bounty Hunter, Pirate or Mercs unit lists.

There are three more planned lists as well, Smugglers, Slavers and BANE (aliens style aliens) in their Ezine called Over the Wire.

Alrighty! Found some time to do some painting!

So now that I've had a chance to sit and do some brushwork I've actually got progress to report.

Sasha Barrett is the first finished member of my Merc crew.

I decided to go with a grey and orange scheme for Sasha. Her outfit issues a standard tactical garment so their operatives can identify each other on the battlefield. 'Blackjack' and Blair will both get similar schemes for their BDUs and vests. The piping gives it a bit of a sci-fi feel, breaking up the otherwise 'Nam era attire these old VOID minis have (even the boonie hats!).

I went with a bit of that on the weapons as well to tech them up a bit.

Next up will be 'Blackjack' and Blair. Don't know when I'll be able to paint again... but any progress is better than no progress!

Inspired by last night's painting session, here is 'Blackjack' McKinley. Note the blue piping instead of red, as he's a Corporal in Barrett's outfit.

This will be my last chance to pick up a brush for the next three weeks, but I'll be back painting Blair the first of the new month to finish off my Old Guard. Then it's 'Merciful' and Bijou and the crew is done!

Nice painting. 'Blackjack' McKinley, that model's from Urban Mamoth right? From it's Void game. The validian Comando. OOP, but I have one on my painting table waiting for some brushwork.

it sounds like a fun game, but getting it in Belgium would prove difficult. Can I get it from the internet somewhere?

Thanks fellas! I'm going to have some time to paint in the new year and I'll hopefully get some paint on the last three miniatures in my Merc crew ('Bijou', Tennyson and 'Merciful').

Fun game, definitely recommend checking it out.
