Search didn't find any topics for ARMA 2. Anyone able to get this game to work for them or is it all a bunch of BS? I can't get more than 2 minutes of gameplay before it crashes. Truely sad because the game is beautiful and I've got 5 more months off work to heal a broken ankle. I was hoping ARMA2 would save me from boredom.

I have ARMA2, but I dont have a machine that can handle it.

I've got it. I play online with my bros once per weekend. None of us have issues running it. I rebuilt my machine last fall. Both brothers run it with 2-3 year old dual core machines just fine.

I do a bit of mission building with scripting. Usually it's to convert our old favorite OFP missions to ArmA/ArmA2.

I have it. It would have been better if the game didn't physically nauseate me at the time. Not bashing the game per say but the way movement and aiming was handle was enough to induce an urge to vomit. I think it could do with more improving in terms of certain bugs and optimizations as well.

Behind the guy that says he's behind you.

If you have downloaded it illegally than it wont play.

Bohemia Interactive have placed a code in it that detects whether or not the key being used is a factory key (or a keygen one) and if the game is running of a crack.

Most computers can run it fine its just a matter of tweaking the settings. alot of the default settings are still 2 much for basic PC's so that is where you attention should be placed first.

The blur effect when you turned is something that pissed me off to no end. then Bohemia sent out a patch that allowed you to turn it off .

Anyway thats my 2 cents on helping.
I was drawn to Arma after the original Flashpoint games which are still better (gameplay wise) ive been skinning and modding arma 1 & 2 for a while and in my experience there arnt to many people that stick with it due to the gameplay style.
