Hi guys ,
I am new to this site but I have been playing wargames since about 98 . I am building a Imperial Guard army but I am trying to do it without using any actual 40K figures or at least very few of them . I am looking at using Sherman Tanks for my Leman Russ tanks but I am not sure what scale to look for . I think I have heard the 1/48 scale is correct but I am not sure I could sure use some help with this . So if anybody has any info I would greeatly appreciate it .

hi & welcome to dakkadakka.

I'm no expert, but I think that, depending on what type of model you're looking at, 1:48 or 1:35 is the scale you'd be interested in.

in fact, this would be a great opportunity for you to explore the Articles feature of the site, which I believe has some modelling articles that will have better answers to your question.

enjoy your stay here!

Welcome to dakka! Alpharius did indeed point you in the right direction.

Out of curiosity is there a theme to your army and using non-GW, or did you just feel rebellious*?
