So, the new rules for the GT are up.

Who all will be there?

I'll be going....if I can organise one or two things.

Firstly, i'm clueless about how to get there.  Can anyone offer any hints/tips/advice surrounding the event.

Also- Im currently living in Japan.  I've only ever been to Florida in the U. S- and have no idea about Atalanta.

Can anyone recommend accomodation ? Cheap hotels/hostels etc. -At the very most, offer some floor space   ? (im clean- and house trained.  And have good references ) Plus I can bring cool shtuff from the land of the rising sun as compensation.

Is there an atlanta GT? I only see one listed for Chicago.

DOH !! Okay- then a few clarification- i may have meant games day.

The tourney rules that are up now for you guys- when are they used? At the games day or at the GT (Chicago is it?)

EDIT: Cool.   Checked it out.  On the US GW site they have the listings for the Games Days.  Thats what i was talking about.

In addition to that- can anyone recommend whether either the Atlanta or the Baltimore GD is better?  Same original questions would apply for either.

California ( again)

alanta is in Georgia which is right above florida, and the cheapest hotels i can think about with good beds and a safe place would be motel six, im just going to drive there from texas in the winobago(sp) so i wont have to worry about hotels and food and stuff like that moile hotel on wheels and i do have three extra beds in there too

I am staying at the Baymont Inn Atlanta/Buckhead. After some checking around on the internet this hotel was the best quality for the cost. It's a little further from the convention center than I wanted to be but it's in a really good area, should be very clean and safe and all that. Check it out, here's the link and the address for the hotel. By the way, Atlanta has a huge airport so flying in should be no problem for you.

Hope it helps

Cincy, OH

I know the US Events guy posts here sometimes. I have never been to a tournament; do they usually do a quick rundown before games on how they play/score things?

In particular, since I am sure there will be a few, what is GW GD Tourney?s call going to be on DP's landing on friendly units?
