Yup, you read it right. Battlefront has decreased the prices of their products in both Australia and New Zealand. Some prices have dropped as much as $10, with some smaller increases in there too. The price of the hardcover main rulebook in Australia in particular was dropped by $15.

Pretty nice to see a miniatures company actually decrease their prices instead of always just increasing them, although it sounds like this change was in order.

I wonder what they must of done/expect what kind of publicity/lost their minds in order to do such a thing.

It's actually done bacause they want to have level prices all over the planet and not some retailers selling huge amounts of stuff because the exchange rate favours them while at the same time killing the LGS.

I don't see how this is great for us EU/UK/US folks though.

I guess it isn't really, but I'm certainly happy for our miniature gaming friends in Oz and the land of Kiwis and Hobbits.

Battlefront have been hit by a double whammy over here. They raised their prices across the board and released early war rules without half of the models.

I've heard that Peter Pig can't hold stock of his 'early war' stuff. Yes, 15mm WWII gaming continues unabated, if not stronger than ever.
