Here are some pictures of work in progress. Made the plague claws out of screaming bell kits, rock lobba kits, green stuff and fingers from a resident evil hard platic figure.

Also bought this figure from malestrom games that i intend to use as my hell pit abomination. The giant rats on the 20 mm bases will be use to track life left. there are 5 bases since it has 6 life to track. I also have been adding giant rats going in and out of the belly area. Goal is to do this from all sides but I have to get ahold of about 8-10 more giant plastic rats to pull this off effectively. You can see the concept here so far though.

Note the model is nice, but you will need to green stuff the gaps and a few blemishes here and there if you pick up a copy of this model. I am not planning to green stuff any hair on the model as I kind of like the whole hairless rat feel it has to it. I plan on painting it a little pailer than the other rats in my army so far.

The rats coming out of the skin is quite disgusting and awesome. Its base seems to large for only needing 5 counters. also i think it should be on its own base in the movement tray or at least placed on something that makes its ground level the same as the rat counters. Having them on different planes brakes the illusion and make it a bit disjointed feeling.

Excellent point. My finished product goal is to build up the base with a dirt like effect that would allow for the rats to be inset but have the Abomination at the same level.
I still feel that the base may be too big. I wanted to haven enough room to build some diorama like effects, however I think that because the base is not 60 X 100 MM that might make some players upset. As it is it is currently somewhere around 80 X 120.

Sometimes game play just gets in the way of creativity - lol.
