Welcome to my newly formed blog all about my Word Bearers army. Yesterday I came into possession of about 75 CSM models from a friend. I got everything from old school plague marines to a dreadnought. There are no pictures as of yet because I am still sorting through the models and separating the pewter from the plastic and putting together my squads so I can see what I have.

"Stage One", I titled it that way because I am still working on figuring out what I have and putting them into groups. After that is all done and pictures are taken (hopefully today) I will begin the long an arduous process of stripping the paint from the models and fixing them up. After that I will do the priming and the painting. From beginning to end I plan to take pictures so that I can log the transformation of the army. This army is my winter project so I already have a mindset that it is going to take several months to complete.

Please feel free to post comments on anything, opinions, or any other advice you may have. Criticism is always welcomed by me. Thank you for checking out my blog and stay tuned for the pictures later this evening.

First piece of critiscisim: When starting a blog always include a picture. Even if I'm excited over the fact that I'll soon beable to see some Word Bearers, some pictures of the army or maybe a test figure would've been much better. Anyway, I'm looking forward to some pictures and good luck with your army! CHAOS IS THE ONLY TRUE ANSWER!

I am sorry for the lack of pictures or the no pictures for that matter, I just found out in my move that my camera is broken and I need to go out and buy a new one. But I wanted to keep the updates coming and flowing seeing as I am working on the army little by little in my free time. I started testing solvents today to strip the old paint off these models. I found that purple power works pretty well for pewter models and simple green works for the plastic ones. I am going to continue looking for a solvent to use on the plastic models because it doesn't seem to fully soak into the crevices and I am unable to get all the paint off the models.
