Hello Dakka peeps

I am new to the board, but not that hobby. I got in to 40k a long time ago, I want to say 3rd ed, and quickly got out for lack off players in my area. Years later, I got the Warmachine bug, and have been playing that for the last few years, and I very much enjoy the game. However, many of the groups and individuals that I play with have disbanded or lost interest in the game. Most due to a lack of local support, but that is an aside.

More to the point, I have found however there is a fairly large and diverse following for GW, and while it might take a small amount of hunting to find the right mix of people to play with that there are atleast 4 store within an hours drive that support the hobby, and more groups then I can count that play local. While I could very easily see getting into both Fantasy and 40K, I would like to ease into one game at a time. I like 40k since this is a lack of futuristic mini games, and since the rules have been out a bit some of the kinks are worked out, but I have also always had a strong interest in fantasy.

Maybe I could hear some suggestions of which one to pick up as my future hobby to fill my Warmachine void.

Pat that askala, O-H-I hate this stupid state

Welcome to dak dakยก I tried getting into fantasy but didnt care for having most of your stuff moving around in rank and file formation as it kinda leaves very limited posing. I am kinda biased but like 40k a ton better.

Then it comes to be that the soothing light at the end of your tunnel, its just a freight train coming your way!
