So, before fleeing back south of the Border once more, I stopped in at my Gran's, and took the opportunity to nip into the attic to see just what my brother and I have in our collection.

Oh my I'd quite forgotten. Quite apart from a lot of moderish models, we have several very old, very cool models. From a complete squad of original Grey Knight Terminators, complete with NFWs, Terminator Armoured Inquisitors, metal Assault Marines, Rebel snotz from Gorkamorka (still in Blister!) plus various tanks and stuff.

Thing is, both my Bro and I are quite shockingly broke at the moment, with me just starting a new job, and him still looking, we are seriously considering flogging some or all of the collectoin. So apart from pricing, does anyone know if there are people out there who bulk buy peoples old collections?

You should probably just post them up on Ebay, Barter Town, or Dakka Swap Shop. That way the people come to you instead of you looking for them.

More looking at getting shot all at once, rather than wind up having to send dozens of parcels to different locations.

Sounds like you may have too much random stuff to be left as one lot and get what it is worth.

I remember picking up an armies worth of GW dwarves for less than a £60 (about 4 years ago) from eBay. It inlcuded nearly all of the white dwarf models to that point, two regimants of renown and a huge number of 1987-1990 metal dwarves and numerous support weapons.

I would suggest spliting it into 1 miniature lots and putting it up on swapshop or one of the other mini markets, prehaps eBay if you prefer.

Exactly, definitely sell separately or in groups of like items. If you lump stuff together too much people will bid lower or not at all, because they dont want some of the things and dont want to have to try and resell the unwanted stuff.
