I'm stationed down in Grafenwoehr man. Got a group of 3-4 gamers down here. Your welcome to come down and game with us when ever(Me: Bugs and Grey Knights. Got 1 Black Templars, 1 Space Wolves, 1 Tau. The majority of us also play WHFB, battletech, MTG, and occasionally D&D (not to mention computer games). We're an all around nerd group...Haha.

There is a GW store in Nurnberg (about an hour drive for me, not quite sure the distance from Baumholter), which is the closest that I know of. Primarily your going to be ordering stuff online because it's much cheaper. Things seem to be the same price in Euros as they are in USD in the states.

Anyway...Shoot me a PM once you get over here and I'll send you my german #.

There are GW stores as well as others that carry the products and have gaming space. I seen at least one in Frankfurt, although I didn't make note of the location. I just go once a year on vacation.

If you're interested in gaming with locals, I don't think you'll have any trouble finding games. With the transportation network in Germany, it's no trouble to get around, so even if there's nothing close, it's not an insurmountable obstacle.

FWIW, I was stationed in Germany for about 26 months - longer ago than I want to admit - and I still love the place. I go back about as often as I can. Enjoy your stay.
