I recently (as in a few months ago) played a few games of Paranoia, A very silly yet extremely interesting and fun RPG. It can be played seriously or silly-like and I tried it a little both ways. I was wondering if many people have had experiences with this game, and if so what is it like outside of the first hour or so of playtime, since I've only played a few hours of the game rather than a full blown campaign.

The game stays like it you have experienced.

The only time it changes later on is if you somehow survive long enough to get a higher color. Getting up to Indigo, Violet, and Ultraviolet is near impossible. Your GM has to be extremely lenient.

It's odd in that you can "Win" by escaping, where as most games there is no true end state. There is usually just a last level in your exp chart. The only way you can hope to get there is by playing a serious game. And in a serious game you friend the computer will smite you without a second thought.

Still a super fun game. Love it to death.

The Computer is Your Friend.

Its a great game, it really isnt geared for long drawn out campaings though. It still is one of my favorite RPGs of all time though.

Yeah, I loved playing the quick games I did play, and from reading it and talking to my friend who introduced me I could see it wasn't really programmed for long adventure-like games which DnD is all about. But whenever I play I always want it to go on, to develop a character in this weird twisted world of friend computer and was wondering if anyone had any experience attempting to play it as a longer game.
