Hello, crimsonfist832 here, and I wish to tell all Dakkites about the death-defying scions of Russ, the Crimson Claws. They are warriors of myth and legend, borne into this world by the one-and-only Primarch Leman Russ. I'm still working on their History so it wont appear for know, but, as alway, if you like or enjoy this, please pm me.

“FOR RUSS, FOR THE ALLFATHER!!! THIS NIGHT THE ENEMY SHALL FEEL THE CLAWS OF THE WOLF!!!"
- Battle Cry of the Crimson Claws

+COMMENTS ON THE CRIMSON CLAWS+
“Huh, beasts they all are, mongrels who all
believe they are too good for the rules of the
Codex Astartes, these… these wolf-men? Too
good for ten millennia of tested and refined
battle wisdom? Well, let them fight as savages
then, see if the Imperium doesn’t prosecute them
for there savage ways, I say. Let them fight and
die!!!”
- Captain Cato Sicarius of the Ultramarines

“Guard your tongue, whelp, lest you wish I cut
it out for you. I care not for how you wish you
can speak, or for your moon-touched ramblings.
Mark this well, for I shall not tell you again – of
the 13th Company we do not speak!!!”
- Wolf Lord Asbjorn Giantkiller

+FOUNDING+
During the time known to the Imperium as the Horus Heresy, the Space Marine legions fought amongst one another, brother fought brother and Primarch fought Primarch. It was a time of confusion and discord, civil war and unrest. Darkness had finally befallen the Imperium and this was Mankind’s darkest hour.
When the climatic duel between the treacherous Warmaster and the Emperor came to an end, all celebrated till the Emperor was eternally bound to the contraption known as the Golden Throne of Holly Terra. Order was needed. Keeping to himself, Roboute Guilliman, Primarch of the Ultramarines legion devised the Codex Astartes, a mighty tome in which was stored the details of marine drill, organisation and tactics.
When Guilliman presented this to his brother Primarchs, he announced that he wished for them to split their legions into several smaller Chapters consisting of roughly 1000 battle-brothers each. Leman Russ of the Space Wolves Legion backed up Rogal Dorn and Vulkan on the idea that they did not want their legions split. As civil way hung in the balance and the Imperium looked like it was on the brink of total devastation, Dorn finally gave in to Guilliman’s requests, as did Russ, un-reluctantly.
Dorn split his legion into the Crimson Fists and the Black Templars whilst the successors of Vulkan’s Salamanders are even unknown to this day. Russ’ Legion grafted the ill-fated Wolf Brothers Chapter, and after them there were no other chapters thought to have been created.

Whilst the Space Wolves Chapter-Monastery, or the Fang as its known, was under-construction, Russ concealed himself in its deepest, darkest vaults as he conspired a plan.
Captain Vorek Yngmar Morkai of the 4th Company, or the Deathwolf as he was known, was one of Russ’ most trusted Captains, a warrior whose strength matched the resilience of Fenris and whose cunning matched that of one of the dreaded Blackmanes. A bear of a man, Morkai was indeed one of the greatest Wolf Lords of his millennia.
As Russ conspired in the concealed vaults of the Fang, he revealed to Morkai his plans on the foundation of a new successor, one greater than the Wolf Brothers. So was to be born the Crimson Claws, warriors born of fury and wrath, with the temperament to match the climate of their home-world.
They were to be known in the future as one of the greatest Chapters to have ever been taken under the rays of the Emperor, to have ever been part of the Adeptus Astartes, to have ever strode the galaxy.
They were to be sons of Russ!

+WAR IN THE SEA OF STARS+
During the latter years of the 41st Millennium, the Crimson Claws have become embroiled in war after war without pause or respite. One thing is known for sure by the Crimson Claws and that is that they will blaze brightly in defiance before the lights of the galaxy extinguish forever. Listed upon this section are the many engagements in which the Crimson Claws have taken pride of place.

+897.M41-The Siege for Stalend Spaceport+
During 897.M41, large remnants of Hive Fleet Jormungandr descended in force upon the Threxian System. Its first stop was the civilised Hive world of Thrycantia and the Imperial Forces garrisoned there proved unable to stop the constant influx of xenos that traversed the ghostly lower hives of the world. Imperial Command were worried of losing an entire system’s worth of Guard and so issued a high ruling for all Imperial Forces to withdraw and leave the settlers of Thrycantia to their doom so that the Tyranids could be exterminated from orbit.
Vilhelm Nightstalker, resupplying upon Thrycantia at the time, objected fiercely with that command. Thought he himself could not leave the action on the front lines, he sent Wolf Guard Battle Leader Logan Rockstorm alongside two full squads of Grey Hunters to help reinforce the vital spaceport of Stalend so that the people of Thrycantia could evacuate. With scant days before the xenos had reached Stalend, the Grey Hunters under the command of Logan Rockstorm intensively trained the menfolk of Stalend in anti-Tyranid drills, putting the fear of the denizens of Tarlaark into any of those foolish enough to consider fleeing.
Against all the odds stacked upon them, the Crimson Claws and their new-found recruits held the walls of Stalend spaceport against the screeching masses of Tyranids, buying the settler families enough time to evacuate the spaceport and leave the Threxian System. When the five remaining Grey Hunters alongside Logan Rockfist finally retreat from the spaceport themselves, Imperial High Command orders Vilhelm Nightstalker to strip them of every honour they bear to their name for disobeying a direct command. Instead Nightstalker promotes all five Grey Hunters into his personal Wolf Guard in recognition of their valorous deeds upon that day.

+877.M41-From out of the Warp it Came+
The Crimson Claws of Folke Krakentooth’s Great Company are traversing the sea of stars when a vast USM-class anomaly breaches the fabric of reality as the yawning Warpgate of Sloth. Twenty-thousand miles of heaving, living flesh, the entity defies Imperial classification until a female xenobioligist realises that the described anomaly was once a dreaded void whale.
Since swimming the unnatural tides that form the Warp, it has transformed into something even more terrifying. As the mutated monstrosity prepares itself to engulf the astral Imperial stronghold of Athadaen, the Crimson Claws prepare to launch boarding torpedoes into the flabby hide of the former void whale. They bargain without the fact that the planet-sized predator has its very own ecosystem, and a hostile one at that – Folke and his men are soon beset by the bloodied Draphora, a were-wolfish race of Warp-slicked bipeds with thousands of rows of razor-serrated teeth.
After a gruesome, gruelling and desperate war amongst the frond-forests and gill-chasms of the mutated void whale, Folke and his men cut their way into the beast’s chest chasm, splitting into two scouting parties from with which then they find the whale’s circulatory system and plant thermal charges and melta bombs deep within the behemoth’s vital organs. They escape with seconds to spare before the beast finally tears apart as the charges set to rig inside its chest cavity finally set alight the beast, tearing it apart in a great cloud of tainted blood. The Athadaenean Gas Belt is borne from its tainted remains.

THE SKY WARRIORS
On the darkest nights they come
The Sky Warriors of Tarlaark
Riding upon steeds of starfire and flame
Striking like storm-wrath above

As tall and broad as the bear, each one
Their fangs are knives of bone
In their arms the strength of the kraken
In their veins the blood of the gods

Clad in living and breathing steel
The Brotherhood knows not fear
Pelt of wolf and skull of fiend
Rune and tooth and blade

Hell-forged weapons, a hundred deaths
The steel that seeks the heart
The dragon-breath turns men to ash
The blade that sings a dirge

Raven and crow dine well in their wake
Wyrm fears their howl. Troll slinks away
Great-wolf kindred lope at their side
Thunderwolf bares his throat

The fell breath of winter is nothing to them
The flametides of summer no worse
They feats as they fight, hearty and well
Death’s touch gives them not pause

From the ice-bound Venriz, high in the clouds
They come on wings of flame
The Lords of Iron forge beasts of war
Ice storms prowl in their wake

They smite our enemies, take their pelts
They slay the beasts of the void.
Those they choose to fight at their side
Reborn in the realm of the gods

This might seem a little pushy, but if you've viewed this and like it in any way shape or form, or dis-like it in any way shape or form, please comment. I'm after comments to see how people think of them.
