I'm sure all of us are familiar with the really awesome tool that is Vassal 40k. I've found myself playing dozens of games over the last couple months, at least two with every codex. While it's certainly not the same as the real deal, it's a fun way to experiment on army lists without spending any money, and you can play 40k (sort of) whenever you want.

Anyways, what I was thinking about, was taking Army Lists from Dakka-ites, challenging a random player player on vassal, and then writing up a battle report with vassal screenshots. I love trying out new army ideas, and I figured this could be fun for everybody.

So, post a list here you'd like to see me play, whether it be an idea you're curious about, a WAAC lean and mean tournament list, or anything else. I generally play 1500-2000 point games, and that tends to be the target point limit for most people on Vassal. So if you want to see an army list in action, feel free to post it here and I'll give it a shot along with a writeup and a analysis.

Keep in mind that I am a completely average player. My knowledge of the rules is pretty sound, and I win the majority of casual games at the FLGS, but I've never won a tournament (I've only been in two) and will not be able to make a crap list really good. I feel like this would make for an interesting way to experiment with ideas.

So post some lists here, and I'll give them a shot.
