I was able to buy the game, and oh my god, it was awesome. I'm not saying it was one of the greatest games of the year, but I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Trust me guys, if you played the origionals, don't mind some blood and nudity, then pick the game up. The "professional" reviewers don't know what they are talking about.
It was short, I won't lie, but as you play, you unlock all three of the origionals, so it's basically 4 games in one $60 package.

Just wanted to say that I googled to see what it was about and the trailer was accompanied by an advert for Lindt chocolates which seems highly inappropriate!
However there was another video ad at the side for Cillit Bang, just what you need to clean up all that gore!

Hmmm, yes, sorry. I should have linked a video to the actual game, but forgive me, I was tired. More than likely you didn't see the "right" splatterhouse, because it got remade by Namco after it was almost done by some other company.
So, added trailer into OP.
I've never feared Death or Dying. I've only feared never Trying.
Cons:
1) You do not see what is going on due to the camera (and the blood, yeah, but that´s fine)
2) Loading. Loading. Loading. Yeah it´s loading. Go to lunch. Loading. Yeah it´s almost there. Loading.
3) Repetitive
4) Can´t this stupid mask just SHUT UP???
5) OK, so I am dead. Now I have to repeat the last ten minutes. After the loading.
Pros:
1) It honours its ancestors
2) It is original
3) It is FUN.
9 out of 10 for me. Highly recommended.
