Awesome.

It will be great for "decoru" too.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

I know people poke fun at Tau for being 40k Gundams, but I never really connected that aesthetic with Tau. I guess if the rest of your army is suitably gundamized it wouldn't look out of place.

Oh don't you know? Every mech suit ever created is automatically linked to Gundom and anime. Sure Aliens, Avatar, District 9, The Matrix series. They're all Gundom and anime and should be hated as such *rolls eyes*

:( why can't it be left alone that wanting to pilot a mechanical ex-skeleton capable of crushing a man's skull with it's pinky has something to do with a bunch of kids wanting to go out and play hero during some War.

That model shows the 'Tau Ancestor' thing pretty clearly, actually!

Who said anything about hating it? I rather enjoy the better animes and certainly enjoyed Gundam back when I watched it. Custom Wing Zero from Endless Waltz was awesome! And now I feel old because I remember watching it in early high school when it came out Stateside...

Of course, I could be misinterpreting the original post since I took it as a somewhat serious offer of a new model to be used as a Tau Commander, rather than another jab at misplaced "Tau = Gundam" mentality.

I genuinely think it will make a great Tau Commander. I'm going to get one when I'm in Japan for the holidays.

Nice find, provide a link, please!

Anyway, I will stick to the (Urban Mammoth) Suit for my old and a bit stiff general :

Scale 1/144? Maybe using a 6" (13cm) Commander is stretching it a bit

Or go the full route and use this 1/60 12" model (which I will use for Sac'ea in Apocalypse games counting as an Eldar titan):

A bit silly for my view of the grimdark, but that is just personal opinion. Technically speaking seems to be a well-executed model. If it fits your vision for your army, then have a ball with it!
