Hi all. I've decided to start a log for all my modelling endeavours which may or may not find their way into my up-coming Ebay store (first I need things to put in there). Basically I have so much stuff (and play so little nowadays) that I thought it would be a good idea to sell it in a more controled environment than in the turbulent and unpredictable world of bidding.
I've nearly finished a Dwarf army but am waiting for stuff to arrive so I had a root around today and found some very old Undead models in need of some serious TLC. Never one to throw a good model away here's what I got on with...

Black Knights

I initially thought just about cleaning them up a bit and giving them a re-paint, as they seem too frail for a complete strip. However the detail was so obscured I thought about replacing the heads with Grave Guard spares. After I finished the first one I thought - hell why not replace the torso's as well? Sadly this wasn't possible for the first one (and may not be for others) which have been heavily glued into somewhat dorky positions - but I'll try...

A little Green Stuff on the Horse - i thought some simple robes would be a good idea to make him stand out more...

A quick before and after - all that's left is the shield and his base...I also found 10 old-school Skeletons which I gave a quick once over prep and re-painted. I'll probably keep them for my on-going Warhammer Quest project...not bad in the space of about 6 hours, eh?

Finally another Black Knight I finished a couple of days ago for a winter-inspired VC army - I'm just waiting on the Snow flock to arrive before I can finish the rest...and until I buy another box of Grave Guard!

Thanks for looking

Too right bruver, too right

Anyways...I've finished re-building the unit of Black Knights and am pleased with the way they've turned out, considering their starting condition.

Speaking of Quest I've started my project - namely to re-assemble the original contents of Warhammer Quest with some extras/newer miniatures and more '3D' boards. I've seen many fine examples on the internet over the past few months and so it begins. I began seperating all the contents and have managed to get 95% complete original set (bar models)

My attempt at room-making using Foam Board, Plasticard and a lot of PVA glue:

For some reason I've got two copies of the floor plans/original cards, the expansion pack boards but no original models and only 1 printed book (a battered copy of the roleplay book)?
Nevermind I've managed to get a chap-mint copy of the Rulebook off Ebay and will buy/restore bits and pieces over the coming months...
