Seriously, I just watched the 5 minute extended trailer for this, and really got into it. Its dark, gritty and looks like it will be an INCREDIBLE ride. The only game I can say that I have played (but sadly not completed, as it has the hardest final boss of any game) the seems to resemble this is the Original Metal Gear Solid. The only music we have heard so far is also dark and gritty, but just like the trailer. I also think thats its topic is rather interesting. Giving up your humanity for the power over others. What dose dakka think of this? I am excited, and will most definitely be picking this one up after launch.

YO DAKKA DAKKA!

I don't see the resemblance to MGS at all, but I did love the original Deus Ex game and am really looking forward to this. I too found the story really intriuging, lame-o conspiracy references aside. Human Revolution, being a touch more futuristic, will hopefully avoid this!

Deus Ex 2 really disappointed me so my expectations are comfortably high.

Bioshock?
No, it looks like it'll be a good update to the Deus Ex trilogy.

Maybe it will be the next System Shock 2.

Amidst the mists and coldest frosts he thrusts his fists against the posts and still insists he sees the ghosts.

I was about to say. I thought that Bioshock: Infinite was the next Bioshock and was wondering why they would change to title.

I meant story wise. Like one of the top-notch story driven games. MGS, Half Life 2 and Bioshock are the most current ones, so I thought the title would get everyone's attention.

YO DAKKA DAKKA!

I see your point. Bioshock, as a spiritual sequel to SS2, disappointed me much like the Deus Ex sequel did...

Human Revolution shows more promise than Bioshock: Infinite so as I said, I'm hopeful!

Have you ever played Deus Ex, Happy'?

I'd say not.

Deus Ex >>> Bioshock.

I'm still hoping for a remake (maybe they'll get rid of that terrible set of VOs for Hong Kong...).

Honestly, hadn't heard of it until this trailer. Have no idea what the gameplay is like.

Ye Gods, get a copy of DEx1 immediately!
Its a touch dated graphically but an incredible game none the less.
