Hi guys this is my 1500pts list for melbourne in flames, please leave comments regaurding the list if you think that i can improve on this army.
As i Have'nt started to paint the army yet i will probably be posting pics of it at a latter date.

Hello. I have a few pieces of advice for you.

1) You are decidedly light on synapse. You only have 2 broods, to 6 units that need them. Also, both units are rather fragile. The Tyrant needs either Extended Carapace or Gaurds. Regenreation doesn't do much for it, because it only has 4 wounds.

2) You have nothing in the area of Ranged Anti-tank. I strongly recomend a unit of Hive Gaurd or two. These allow you to pop problamatic transports at a distance.

Cut the Rippers for extra points. They are a very poor unit, and you have equipped them to be way to expensive. Also consider dropping the Regen off the monsters, and downgrade the broodlord to a normal stealer. I would suggest dropping the Adrenals from the Hormagaunts. As it is, they are very expensive, and very Fragile. This frees up Enough points to add 3 Hive Guard and Heavier Armour on the Hive Tyrant.

Finaly, I would recomend finding a few more points to upgrade a Trygon to a Prime, which increases your Synapse Web greatly.

Downgreading the broodlord would be a mistake. they are way to awesome for the amount of points they cost. Still you need some hive guards and more synapse.I never bother about that because I manly play genestealers so can't help you witht that

yeah i have to agree i probably should get rid of the rippers, and take some tygon primes

Welcome. Its already been mentioned, but this should really be moved to the army list section for some good critiquing.

I'd drop some upgrades the rippers and spore mines to get more synapse and anti tank in your list.

hive tyrants are tempting but refrain from to manny upgrade people tend to see them and try to kill them on the first turn, also if you want to replace wound on him take leech essense its something i like just in case but i rarely end up using it becuase people just run away. if you do want to have a couple of units deep stike behind the enemy i suggest giving at least one of your trygons the prime upgrade, used well you will make heaps of kills with them, they are my favorite units as when you deep strike do it behind a tank if possible, the rear armour of most tanks is 10 and you should be able to do some damage with you assult 12. deffinatly try to get some eliets, hive guard are a great option in good squads, regen on your trygons is most of the time a waste of points, you dont usualy regen enough wounds to save your self, the two trygon split enough shots anyway
