I know there is another Merry Xmas thread on here, but I just have a few things to say.
1) Thank you so much to the mods and admins who help run this website. Your praises are not sung often enough, and I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the tremendous job you do in keeping our posts on topic, PC(where appropriate ) and for generally keeping us on the straight and narrow. Dakka wouldn't be what it is without you.
2) Thank you to every single Dakka member here, even the ones who I have conflicted with this year. You make Dakka great, and a fantastic place to forget your worries for an hour or two. After all, thats what warhammer is for/about.
Have a fantastic Christmas everyone!
Please check out my video battle report series! 50 games in 50 weeks!
Best wishes to all and I hope Santa Grot gives you that special model that you wanting all year.

"We are the Ultramodrines, And We Shall Fear No Trolls. bear this USR with pride".
Also, how does one apply to be a member of the Ultramodrines? Are harsh trials involved, ones that would test my faith as a wargamer and resolve as a geek?
You must recite every rule of Dakka Dakka. BACKWARDS.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. May you all get the swag that you desire the most.
Six mistakes mankind keeps making century after century: Believing that personal gain is made by crushing others; Worrying about things that cannot be changed or corrected; Insisting that a thing is impossible because we cannot accomplish it; Refusing to set aside trivial preferences; Neglecting development and refinement of the mind; Attempting to compel others to believe and live as we do
Sleep? What's that? 4:30 and I'm posting on Dakka when the family's going to be up at 7 in the a.m.
Merry Christmas Dakka Dakka!
What harm can it do to find out? It's a question that left bruises down the centuries, even more than "It can't hurt if I only take one" and "It's all right if you only do it standing up." Terry Pratchett, Making Money
"Can a magician kill a man by magic?" Lord Wellington asked Strange. Strange frowned. He seemed to dislike the question. "I suppose a magician might," he admitted, "but a gentleman never could." Susanna Clarke Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell
