I think I got everything for the BA player he didn't have a list. He just put it together with a calculator and his codex without writing anything down. If I forgot anything in his list or made a mistake I apologize.
BA win the roll to deploy and go first.
Ba deploy in the quadrant with a ruin. The auto cannon Dread deployed on top of the small ruin. One of the 10 man Assault squads deploys on his objective underneath the dread on the lower floor of the ruin. Mephiston deploys behind the assault squad along with the Blood Talon Dread. Death Company deploy right next to the ruin on my left. The last Assault squad is reserved to deep strike in later.
Space Wolf deployment is on the quadrant with a building and a tree area of terrain. I deploy one Razorback on my right flank as far out as I can the other Razorback behind the building on my left flank on my objective. The 12 Fenrisian Wolves in the middle stretched from in front of the building, and kind of wrapping behind the Razorback on my right for some cover. Thunder Wolf Cavalry deploy right behind the Fenrisian Wolves in the centre. Rhino deploys behind the Thunder Wolf Cavalry. A Wolf Guard attaches to each Grey Hunter Pack, Rune Priest attachs to the squad in the Rhino, and the Wolf Lord attaches to the Thunder Wolf Cavalry.
Blood Angles turn one.
Movement:
Blood Angles don't move at all.
Shooting:
Auto cannon Dread wrecks the Razorback on my right flank. Squad passes their pin check.
Space Wolves turn one.
Movement:
Grey HUnters on foot move toward my objective behind the building.
Razorback on my left flank zooms up 12"
Fenirisian Wolves move up followed by the Thunder Wolf Cavalry.
Rune Priest Rhino moves up 6 following in the centre.
Shooting:
Razorback pops smoke.
All wolves fleet.
Rune Priest living lightnings the auto cannon Dread immobilizing it.
Blood Angles turn two.
Movement:
Reserves come in and land on my left flank within assault range of my Fenrisian Wolves.
No other movement.
Shooting:
Auto cannon Dread shots my left flank Razorback, but only shakes it.
The Assault squad that deep struck in tries to run out of my assault range, but fails to do so.
Space Wolves turn two.
Movement:
Grey Hunters on foot move onto my objective.
Left flank Razorback zooms 12" toward that deep striking assault squad.
All Wolves move toward the deep striking assault squad.
Rune Priest Rhino follows behind only moving 6".
Shooting:
All wolves fleet.
Rune Priest living lightnings the auto cannon Dread shaking it so it can not shot.
Assault Phase:
Fenrisian Wolves assault the deep striking Assault squad. Blood Angles do 4 wounds I actually save 2, and I do 7 wounds killing 2 Blood Angles we draw combat.
Blood Angles turn three.
Movement:
Mephiston flies over to the close combat.
Death Company Rhino with Priest move 12" over to be close to the melee.
Dread with Talons is still just hanging in the back, and the other Assault squad is still hunkered down on his objective.
Shooting:
No shooting.
Assault Phase:
Mephiston assaults the Fenrisian Wolves killing a ton of them, Assault squad kills some. I leave the one that is left on Mephiston, and he holds. Not good news for the Blood Angles.
Space Wolves turn three.
Movement: Grey Hunter Pack in the left flank Razorback jump out, and move up to the melee.
Thunder Wolves do the same.
Razorback moves up 6".
Rune Priest Rhino moves up 6" following everyone else.
Shooting:
Assault cannon on the Razorback shakes the auto cannon Dread.
Rune Priest living lightning stuns the auto cannon Dread.
Assault Phase:
Grey Hunter Pack assault the Assault squad , Thunder Wolves also hit the same squad.
Mephiston kills the last Fenrisian Wolf since that was all he could attack.
Assault squad does no wounds to the Grey Hunters or the Thunder Wolves. All power weapons were on the Regular Thunder Wolves and failed to wound any.
MotW rends one the rest of the regular attacks do 5 more wound, but FnP keeps them all alive except the one rend.
Thunder wolves rend 2, again FnP saves the rest. Lord goes with his 6 Thunder Hammer attacks hits with all 6 and kills 5, other Thunder Wolf with Thunder Hammer kills the last 2.
Mephiston fails his leadership and gets away. Everyone consolidates to escort him off the board.
Blood Angles turn four.
Movement:
Mephiston flees 3".
Blood Talon Dread moves toward my Thunder Wolves, but is to far away to hope to get an assault in.
Death Company and Chaplain get out moving to confront the Thunder Wolves.
The other Assault squad finally comes out to engage the Grey Hunter Pack.
Priest in Rhino moves up to give everyone FnP and furious charge.
Shooting:
Mephiston shots at the Thunder Wolves I make my invuln.
Death Company shots Thunder Wolves I take no wounds.
Assault Squad guns down the Grey Hunter squad killing 2.
Assault Phase:
Death Company with Chaplain assault the Thunder Wolves. I counter attack, and I react with my Lord keeping him on the end within 6" of Mephiston, and so only one Death Company can hit him. Death Company actually takes out the Thunder Wolves before they can swing with re-rolls to hit and re-rolls to wound from their chaplain. My Lord finally gets to go with 12 Thunder Hammer attacks, he hits with 9 and wounds with 9 wiping the Death Company out since there was only 7 of them. I actually lose combat by one, but pass my leadership no problem. Chaplain consolidates into my Lord.
Assault squad assaults my Grey Hunters, Grey Hunter Pack counter attacks and uses their Wolf Standard. Both my fist survive the onslaught. He finishes me off with his fist, but not before my 2 fist take 4 Blood Angles with them. They consolidate back towards their objective.
Space Wolves turn four.
Movement:
Razorback moves up 6" to be within 3" of his objective.
Rune Priest moves up 6".
Shooting:
Razorback shots the Blood Talon Dread pinning him once, he fails his cover save and becomes a wreck.
Rune Priest JotWW through his assault squad killing the power fist.
Rhino Storm Bolter fails to kill anything.
Assault Phase:
Chaplain does nothing to my Lord. My Lord returns with 12 Thunder Hammer attacks and squashes his Chaplain. I consolidate towards Mephiston.
He calls the game at this point. I had a Grey Hunter Pack with Rune Priest in Rhino in his face, my Lord and Razorback were within 3" of his objective, and within 6" of a fleeing Mephiston. Last but not least I had a Grey Hunter Pack on my objective behind a building.
Overall I felt like I played the game well. I plan to play this list at the end on January in a local tournament. IMHO I don't believe you can sit back and wait for someone to come to you as a Blood Angle player. He let me dictate everything in the game, and I basically did what I wanted to the letter.
