Greetings

I have been a long time lurker on this website and thought it be about time that I share some of my projects with everyone.
My current project is a scratch built Thunderhawk.
Using the pictures on Forgeworld and the dimensions, I came up with this:

SIDE ON WITH MARINE

COCKPIT WIP

FRONT RAMP OPEN WITH RHINO IN THE HOLD

39 MARINES STUFFED INSIDE

ROOM FOR TWO RHINOS TO FIT INSIDE

SIZE COMPARISON WITH A MARINE, RHINO AND SCRATCH BUILT DROP POD

This behemoth is 13 cm wide x 48 cm long x 19 cm high.
Is it to large when you could park a Land raider in it's hold?
Any C&C would be helpful. (If this is in the wrong spot, I am sorry as I'm still get in used to how to post these.)

So some more done today.
This Thunderhawk now has engines, wings and a tail...kinda
So here comes some more pics:

Tail was made from foam card of cuts glued together with paper glued on either side to cover the cuts

Some...err, wings and engines

Some interior details strting to be added

Have no fear! Those wings/engines will not stay looking that bland...forever...maybe...or just untill the glue dries.

Whilst rading my bitz box I found some left over parts from a model car I built years back and I'm currently thinking of cutting the dashboard up to use in the cockpit. Also being a bit of a computer nerd, I have heaps of old hard drives, mother boards, etc. laying around. Does anyone think that they would make good, cheap (and quick) interior details? And what do people think of adding an LED light or two?
