I just stumbled upon Zombiesmith's miniatures right before Christmas and plan on ordering a couple of small Quar armies. The Quar setting just seems cool, and I love the pseudo-WWI tech level of the game.

Anyway, I just wanted to give a heads up for anyone who may be interested.

Just a follow up. In the next week or two this company will be releasing 28mm sci-fi cars. The application for a 40k game table seems obvious, especially as obstacles in an urban terrain setting.

The cars themselves are simple in design and low on detail, but their proposed price tag of $5-6 can't be beat, and I am sure with some plasticard, greenstuff, or spare bits could be easily 40k'd up enough to fit in with all things GRIMDARK.

Here is a pic:

Here is the thread taken from the Zombiesmith forums. The owner and operator even mentions considering selling molds of the cars so people can cast their own.

Wow, those cars actually look pretty cool.

Hmm, my genestealer cult could use some new limmos...

Those cars look pretty slick.

$5 a car isn't bad, bu If he sells the molds for $20 or less I'd probably populate my gaming tables with them.
