Is there any way I can trade in my screwed up 360 for at least some money? Does microsoft take them?

(I just bought a used 360 for $99, so I want to get some cash off of my old one)

I would sell it on ebay as broken. Try and describe what is wrong with it so the potential buyers will know what they are in for. List it sold "as is" with "no returns". You shoudl be able to get a little out of it. Check some of the listings that are already on there to see hat a broken 360 is going for.

Frankly, you shouldn't have bought a "new" 360.

MS would have replaced the 'screwed up' video card one.

There is a possibility that his previous broken 360 was beyond the 3 year warranty. It was probably cheaper to buy a used 360 for $100.00 then to ship off and get the other one repaired.

Actually, I haven't bought the new one yet (I lied a bit for simplicity's sake ), but I was going to today, but everyone was out of them. And Now I don't want to get a used one because I can't get a 3 year warranty. Is it possible, once you get the xbox repaired, to get the warranty extended again?
