Anyone have any guides or solo stuff on how to learn/practice the game?

I have met one other person where I live that plays it and putting it politely he is extremely rude and not someone I would like to game with.

You'll need to get a hold of the core rule book and give it a good read over. Once you get acquainted with Skill and characteristic tests you'll have a lot of it down. Plus try the "Looking for a game?" sticky in this forum if your looking for a group.

I have the book and will give the playing the game section another good read over or two. I may try that soon, I need to find someone who would do a one shot adventure.

If in doubt, grab a pair of dice, some paper and just make up little situations, then resolve them. Worked for me for the most part.
