Hi there,
I live in a country called Switzerland (you know, the one which copied your democratic system). Switzerland is famous for being the most quoted county in scientific reference, for its neutrality, its banks, its watches, its mountains ... and its hermeticism. The people here only are interested in what exists between the walls of our country. I mean, here, people know everything about chocolate, some videogames (like WoW) and "combats
de reines" and ... that's pretty much it.
Everytime I have a passion, it disapears because of the lack of players here. It did with Yu-Gi-Oh (when I was young), with
MtG and now with
40k.
I spend countless hours to find
40k players and only found like 60 players IN THE WHOLE country (don't forget that we have 4 national languages, so we're maybe 20-25). To visit "my local store", I have to take the bus (20 min), the train (75 min) and then walk (15 min). Oh yeah, there's two stores in the francophone side, the biggest one has 2 tables to play on.
I play with my brother and my girlfriend (which I corrupted xD), but I'm getting bored to feel like a fish in a pool, so I subscribe to a local tournament (there's two per year) only to learn that we were 4 players...
Sorry about being a f****
ng raging nerd, but I really wanted to write that, only to show you that you americans, are really lucky
What should I do?
