Anyone ever hear of this? I was googling some entry level game design jobs and this came up along with the other links. It's a 2-D game maker program, completely free, and I was wondering if it was "safe", so to speak. So, if anyone has an experiance/heard good things about it, let me know

Indeed? Do you remember if you could add your own visuals and stuff, or are you stuck with the Premade things?

Decent programme, I've played around with it a bit but one of my mates uses it quite a bit.

The learning curve is no problem if you do the tutorials built in and have a logical/problem solving mind.

Nice, going to download it soon then.

I just didn't want to download it and it being a hoax, filling my computer with virus'.

Would you say that it is decent for making a fighting game, or no?

If its a 2d platform fighting game it shouldn't be too hard.

By 2d platform fighting game, do you mean like Mortal Kombat (the first one) or something like Super Smash Bros?

Mortal combat would be a 2d fighting game whereas mario would be a 2d platform game.

I just prefer having mario style platforms (like smash bro's) in fighting games as it makes them less monotonous.

True dat, though I don't know if that sort of thing would work with how I want the game to play. Going to have to test it out, though
