So what does everyone think of my Malakim Phoros conversion? He's the Chapter Master of the Lamenters, according to Imperial Armor Volume Nine: Badab War Part 1. I even made his model as close as I could to his rules and description. As mentioned before, his armor will be painted gold according to his background and such. Please excuse the flash and lighting, as it ruins a whole lot of work put into the model. I solemnly swear it's loads better in person.

Parts are:
1.Gabriel Seth
2. Empire Pistolier Head
3 Grey Knight Terminator Blade
4. Sanguinary Guard Melta Pistol
5. Drop Pod Imperial Eagle x2
6. Black Templar MK IV Helmet
7. Tactical Squad Purity Seal

I reckon the paintng is pretty good, considering you claim it's better in person. My only problem is the Flesh Tearers iconography on him.

Agreed. However when you look at the side of the head, its... weird. I dunno, its like his ear got pushed back then torn off?

Currently collecting and painting Eldar from W40k.

I'll probably just dab some Tanned Flesh into there and add a slight amount of detail.

Looks good, but that Aquilla on his backpack would be better off removed, otherwise it looks like it's simply been jammed on there.

Hmm, I'll take that into consideration.

Hey, I though Volturno were an assault squad? I shall have to go and check my Badab War book!

Though guards may sleep and ships may lay at anchor, our foes know full well that big guns never tire.

Beautiful paint jobs, and I like the conversion on the ExSanguinor....

Is the plasma marine in Squad Silvaren missing an arm?
