Hi, my brother saw I was making a blog and wanted one too!

This blog records an 11 year old boy's quest to have an awesome Space Wolves army! He doesn't have any background, yet, they're just Space Wolves. He chose them because he thought they looked cool and wanted to be different from his friends who all collect generic marines He's not a hugely keen painter, but he's managed to get his minis painted pretty well IMO.

He's planning to get:

Some Grey Hunters with a razorback
Some blood claws in a drop pod
Some Wolf guard termies with another razorback
A rune Priest
A dreadnought
And anything else we find!

2 weeks ago he got the battle force (Drop pod and 20 guys) and has finished painting them. Bare in mind that he is 11 and he did this without any help:

Blood Claws

This was his first attempt, a bit messy bit it's still early days! Sprayed with GW Chaos black with details in Burnished Gold and Elf Flesh.

Grey Hunters

He took more time to do these and they turned out better! Same colours again but with finer details

Drop Pod

After gluing he sprayed it with GW Chaos Black. Then did the detail in gold and boltgun. The camera picks up all the stokes for some reason, it looks fine on the tabletop :p

That's what he's got so far. He sold be getting a razorback next week so I'll update then, and perhaps get him to try a bit of highlighting!

Not a bad start. Definintely better than my step son who'll be 11 in April. He does the regular Space Marines and he doesn't even base coat nor base them. Just slaps on a couple colors and calls him done. Then again, I don't think he really wants to be painting them 'cause all he wants to do is video games and we stopped letting him play video games so much...hmm. Oh well.

Keep trying to teach him more advanced techniques. I think with a lot of practice and determination he can start producing some really nice looking minis.

Yeah, these minis are very cool. It is also good painting for 11 years old. Thumbs up from Alex!
