As pictured in the codex, Haemonculi seem to 'float' on a prehensile tentacle, as well as being tall and emaciated. One of the Raider's 'crew' had the height for looking 'thin' and leg position for the floatiness. Here's my plan:

More to come.

Green stuffed the backside for a foundation for the copper wire to connect, as well as sockets for the additional arms. I added 3 wyche arms, one of which I cut off the hand and re-attached the blade as if it were a prosthesis sticking out of the wrist. The head is one of the 'more stately" looking heads. Perhaps that head should come off for one of the bald DE heads?

The backpack has a lot of greenstuff between it and the torso.

More and better pics to come.

Can some photog expert explain why there's better focus when the field of view is full of other models, whereas the non-background yields an unfocused subject?

Try turning off flash, and use the Macro setting on your camera. That will get better details. Flash washes out the details on models (esp. if they haven't been painted). And Macro will help the camera focus on the subject rather than the background.

It has promise. You need to look to the position of the feet (which should be held by gravity), I think.

Sigh. Did both. Use the Macro and no flash. The last one is outside with afternoon sun (you can see the shadow). I just happen to have a really old (11 years or so), 1st generation digi-camera.

I stuck a piece of terrain under the foot so it looks like he's stepping on something:

These were taken in full sunlight (albeit winter sunshine) I still plan to add some serpentine tentacle to the bottom.

For the second attempt of one of these models, (pix soon) I bent the left foot and finally broke it off, but re-attached. Still, WIP.

Thanks, MGS.
I tried some capes last night, but the green stuff is too old and leaving lotsa yellow chunks, too much to smooth out. I could see using this for their *front*, as these sicky creatures wear aprons and probably have more than just blood wiped off on them.
