I like where this is going bhut I do have some comments:

With respects to the lighting from the gun, you have either done it too bright, but if it is that bright, will it be added to the gunner and surrounding vehicle? Otherwise it seems too bright, personally I would tone down how bright you have made it.

In respects to the pilot, I would suggest next time you do it, paint them first, add a wash of very thin black to represent the shadow and then do the lighting, otherwise it look like you have just paint green over black.

I hope you understand all that, and I hope to see more.

Thanks for the feedback!

The lighting effects are gonna be going onto the gunner, but i'm waiting for the brightlance gun to arrive so i can try and make the lighting work for both on the gunner ( if that makes sense) Good idea for the pilot too. He's going to have the clear canopy over the top (once the own can find a clear one) so he really isnt going to be seen. but i'm not sure yet i might have to re-base him and paint him in detail anyways if it doesnt turn out.

Thanks again and any more suggestions are definately appreciated :] there are 2 more vypers i'm working on as well so its definately a good time for feed back!

I personally didnt bother with the canopy... its a pain in the rear, and not having it reminds me that the viper is "open topped"

Great look. The source lighting really makes the models stand out. Great trick with the striping; starting with black appears much easier than what I was anticipating.

Thanks for sharing. Great tips garnered from this.

No earth shattering, thought provoking quote. I'm just someone who was introduced to 40K in the late 80's and it's become a lifelong hobby.
