I have an old D&D pewter dragon as well but it is at my fathers house he liked enough to not let me take it with me when i moved out a while ago.

Yes it is i didn't have the guy who usually rides it with me but there is a magnet under the platform on the dragons back for whomever rides him, it accommodates both square and round bases upto 30mm.
