I liked the design of the stages from the older games. There seemed like there was a lot of thought put into them, whereas this new one was just a bunch of random rooms glued together.
If this would have been a multiplayer option that was added to an actual Castlevania game with story ability to explore at my own pace then I might have gave it a better look. I guess I am getting too picky in my old age.
So am I missing something about this game that might make me want to play it? If it is just like the demo then I probably will not like it. Share some insight about the game please.
Oh no, the demo is God Aweful. It doesn't give you enough time to go through and collect loot (which is how you get "better" with most of the characters (Don't worry, good loot won't save a terrible player)). Also, it's a Multiplayer game at it's heart, and so going through singualy isn't the best way of doing things.
That said, the Valmanway (Old school Chrissagrim) really breaks the game, and they are incredibly easy to get on the Downloadable stages. The fact that it's a multiplayer game makes it where it is really hard to get around the jack asses that use it, too.
I'll give you some character descriptions/stuff when I get back from work though, gots to go.
