I downloaded the gorkamorka pdf and read about the turny gubbins and of course i dont have one but could i just use a protractor?

Sure why not. If I remember right all the turns are 45 degrees. Also shouldnt be too hard to make a little turning template.

I made one, sort of, by heating a sprue, bending and the cooling in water. Works out not too bad

When I first got hold of cheap plasticard for the first time I went a bit nuts and made this:


I tend to use it in preference to the cardboard ones that came with the game as it's much sturdier.
