Doing a cityfighting Guard unit, this is one of the shotgun toting hardened vets. Whole squad of the badboys. Opinons?

IMO Either grey the armour plates, or as an alternative give them a real dark wash to give them that dusty/smoky look and darken them into the overall model.

I'd definately get rid of the green gaiters, brown or black for them and the boots. Maybe the same brown you have on the boots with a black wash to make them nice and dark, but with some definition/colour in the brown.

Thanks for the input Scipio. I'm going to be doing that later on tonight, will make sure to post pics. As it is, the rest of his squad is also being cleaned and prepared for priming to get painted alongside him

Sure, I've only seen the dodgy looking images on the FW website. I'd love to see some more detailed images of them..
