Hi.

This is a plog about my horde guard that I'll be taking to quite a few events this year hopefully.

The first one on the calender is this weekend at Warpcon in Cork.

My current list is something like:

Straken
Psyker battle squad
3 blobs of guard
3 vendettas

I also have a 4th blob I like to switch in featuring Al-Rahem. I also want to paint up other options, such as heavy weapon teams etc.

So here is how the army currently looks:

Strakens squad + blue squad (yes Im cheap and don't want to buy the metal straken yet ).

I have to finish 2 vendettas, objectives and movement trays before the weekend, I'll be trying to take some pictures of my games and get them up on here too .

I know they aren't that greatly painted (devlan mud + drybrush mostly) nor are the pictures very good, but I guess going for that horde look and hopefully one day I'll get back to doing all the faces (yeah right)!

I'm aiming to paint around 30 models a week for this log, next up like mentioned is to finish Al-Rahem's blob..its only 3 colours right now. I also need priests, rough riders etc for fun games.

thats a lot of flesh to paint! I'm impressed you have the patience to do all of that, let alone decide to do even more! If I had that many painted guys already, I'd have given up and just started getting tanks.

I like the fact that someone did Catachans up without them being a bunch of white guys... TBH I am not a fan of the new "Drow" Salamanders either.

Love the AK's too btw.
