I was wondering I want to get kotor as I borrowed the game from a freind and I was wondering if its safe to get it online used at gamestop? If not whats a good place to get it?

Direct2Drive is a safe place. I've gotten ME, ME2, DoW (+all the xpacs), VTM: Bloodlines, Call of Cthulhu, Farcry 2, from them. I've had no problems with those games.

Direct2Drive and Steam are both good places to get games. Both have KoTOR for about $10, however Steam does not have KoTOR 2 (if you would want to play it). D2D does have KoTOR 2.

EDIT: Once again I speak too soon. D2D only has the strategy guide for KoTOR 2 XD

I bought it off Steam recently, as I couldn't find my disks for it.

It was during the sale, but it cost be $3 or so, so I can't imagine it'll be more than $10 now.

$9.99 USD when I checked from Steam. Never had any issues with it, so I'd go for that one. Fantastic game, definately better on PC for the mods/restored content.
