So, I have a Blog going right now, called The Great Imperial Guard Project, where I am attempting to assemble and paint a 7k pt army of IG in around 6 weeks. It has been brought to my attention that, since I only post pictures of the finished models, it might be construed as a P&M gallery, rather than as a WIP blog. This brings up understandable criticism, because I am putting out more than a squad per day. Therefore, I am going to do a step-by-step WIP today of me Painting a 10 man squad of Kasrkin. The actual painting time, I believe, should come in around 3 hours. I will take a picture right before and after each step, and put on a time stamp, in order to prove that I can do this.

Here are the first pics, from Assembled and primed to fully based. All pictures have a time stamp, to deduct interruptions by wife, kids, etc.

There was an interruption at this point.

And another...

And...You get the Idea.

This is the first stage of the Kasrkin. Total painting time, as logged, is 38.5 minutes. Quick lunch break, and then to highlighting!

And now, the final pictures! After detailing, these Kasrkin are ready for the table. Time for the last phase was 8.5 minutes. That brings the total time, with the addition of Assembly and Priming, to 2 hours, 18 minutes, and 15 seconds.
