Hey all, I've just started Space Wolves! Now I've been collecting Tau for over 2 years and I've learned one lesson, pick a scheme from the start, don't use yellow, white or black as a main colour and certainly don't be a perfectionist. My Tau army counts about 15 finished models, so... Space Wolves should get me back on track!

I'll be building the following 1750 pts list:
-Rune Priest
-4 Wolf Guard Terminators
-Wolf Scouts
-30 Grey Hunters
-2 or 3 Rhino's and a Razorback
-A Land Raider (don't know what configuration yet...)
-2 Land Speeders
-2 Vindicators

In possesion yet:
-Rune Priest
-Termies
-10 Grey Hunters
-Rhino.

To kick off the project I have stripped the ebay-Grey Hunters and Scratchbuilt a second Rhino, using some spare parts from the first and 2mm plasticcard. And some Milliput to finish ofc.
So, enough talking, on to the pictures!











I'm very happy with how he turned out, you might notice some details missing but heck I want to get more then 15 models done this time :p

Very nicely done IMO for a scratchbuild. I could never do that. I'm gonna take a wild guess and say hopefully you'll be putting some color on this guy soon?

For a scratch built Rhino, that is awesome! I'm looking forward to seeing it painted.

I'll be on my way to the shop for a blue spray can tomorrow, but there's a high probability that I'll paint up the Grey Hunters first, get bored halfway, paint the rhino and then finish the grey hunters... Well if he gets finished I'll make sure to post it!

Update, I finished my first Space Wolf model. The goal is a decent tabletop standard
I also received the terminators whom i bought on ebay, was a great deal but unfortunately they have 3 assault cannons, and I'd like the to have wolf claws... Snip and sculpt coming up again :p

Looks nice, though I feel the flesh is a tad pink. May be the lighting though - how did you do it?

I honestly have no idea, I mixed scorched brown, vomit brown, scab red, and who knows what else untill I got a flesh-like colour
Next time I'll try to add some more grey tones.

I like the Rhino, gives me a bit of confidence as I'm going to kind of be doing the same thing with a Land Raider except I'm just replacing the side panels with plasticard instead of building a whole new vehicle. Great job
