Just confirming here,

If playing Tournaments, you now use the Tournament pack lists (and playing pick up games) and if playing a Campaign, you stick with what is in SFoS?

I have decided on Centauri and noticed that the Balvarin Carrier has only Jump Point in SFoS, but the Tournament pack has added Carrier 2 and Fleet Carrier.  So if I use this ship, it will fight differently from Campaign to Tournaments.

Yep.

That's the plan...I think they also assume tourny rules for one-off games as the whole point is that SFoS is ballanced for campaigns...Don't know since I have yet to play...
