Due to a lot of players coming in at different times on Friday for the Saturday event I have decided to reschedule the Team Tournament to a different day. While it would be one more great note of a what I'm sure will be awesome weekend. I feel that the Random Team Tourament would be a great event (lots of awesome feedback so far) and would like to make sure it gets the time and attention it needs. Rushed tournaments are no fun and logistically when players are coming in from anywhere between 12pm and 6pm there is no real great time to start the event and give each game the time it needs.

Instead of the Team Tournament we will instead be running a KING-OF-THE-HILL type event with players battling over the rights to stay on tables. This will give players who show up early the ability to get started playing right away, while at the same time giving players who arrive in town later in the evening a chance to participate in a run night of 40k before a grueling 4 round slugfest on Saturday.



Hope no one EMOs over the reschedule and knows that it was done with the best of intentions! Plus, I think a KING-OF-THE-HILL will be a fun and casual, but still semi-competetive night of ice breaking, friend making, and dice-rolling.

Team Tournament

To kick off our Grand Opening Weekend we will be having a 2,500 Team Tournament.

Friday March 4th 2011 (Moved to LAST Saturday in March or FIRST Saturday in April.)

3 Rounds

The Catch? Each round you will be partnered with a random teammate!

Prizes will be Awarded for: 1st Place, 2nd Place, 3rd Place based on your Individual Personal Score.

Doors will open at 10 am. The tournament start time is TBD.

Got the event updated. We are moving the Team Event to a later date and making the KICK OFF to our grand opening a King-Of-The-Hill!
